Advice and answers from the BlogPress Team

We currently offer 3 ways to do this.

1. Simple Social Icons

This is a highly customizable widget. From your dashboard, go to Appearance->Widgets and simply drag it into your sidebar or other widget area and enter the URLs to your favorite social media sites. You can even change the size and colors of the icons.

These icons allow your readers and easy way to find and follow you on social media.

Note: the icons will not show up until you've added the links.

2. AddToAny Social Sharing Buttons

The AddToAny sharing tool is a little different. It displays "share" buttons inside individual posts so that your readers can quickly like or share a post on their feed.

From your dashboard, go to Add-Ons->AddToAny from the left hand menu. Here you will find the settings for this widget.

I recommend using the Large Standalone buttons for your favorite social media sites. They look better than the default "share" to everywhere tool.

3. AddToAny Follow Widget

This is a simply way to add follow buttons to any widget area on your blog. It's not as robust as the Simple Social Icons widget, but it's easier to set up and more colorful.

Just drag the widget to the sidebar and enter ONLY the last part of the links to your social media accounts. You DO NOT need the full URL:
